About Me

I deeply believe that healing is possible, and I have dedicated my life to this. I see each client as an individual and will work with you to identify your specific wants, needs, and goals for our work together. I offer compassionate psychotherapy and mindful healing services, drawing from my extensive background in mindfulness meditation, somatic therapy, and depth psychology. My goal is to support you in cultivating personal growth and emotional well-being through individualized therapeutic care.

Whether you are dealing with complex trauma, family problems, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, or a spiritual crisis, I offer compassionate, effective, and evidence-based treatment that you can access from your own home.

As a therapist, I use compassion, curiosity, humor, and authenticity to create a safe and warm therapeutic environment that allows for the possibility of personal discovery, growth, and healing. I work with clients from a place of trust in their own inherent wisdom and desire to heal.

I am a trauma-informed clinician. I work with your consent and at your pace to help you gain greater clarity and understanding of your experiences as well as support you to grow the capacity and skills to navigate the ongoing challenges in your life. My intention in our sessions is to help you identify what you deeply want for yourself, investigate what is getting in the way of this, help you learn new skills and tools to be able to transform inner pain and conflict so that you can feel safe, connected, and alive within yourself and the world.

My background has given me a wide range of experiences, training, and expertise to help address the causes of suffering and stress in your life. As a holistic clinician, I weave together various therapeutic modalities, such as Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory,  NeroAffective Reprocessing Model (NARM), Dialectical Behavioral Training (DBT), Gestalt, Psychodynamics, Jungian therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, and Mindfulness, tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.  The methods and techniques I use will depend upon your specific needs and desired outcomes. When working with younger populations, I bring in techniques of Play Therapy, Drama Therapy, and Art Therapy.

I also offer in-person ecotherapy sessions in nature as well as preparation and integration therapy sessions for experiences of non-ordinary states of consciousness.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), and an M.B.A. and B.A. from Duke University. I am a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, an authorized Buddhist Dharma teacher, a Facilitator of the Work of Byron Katie, a Certified Facilitator of Feeding Your Demons®, and a Mandala Method facilitator. I have studied and practiced Tibetan Buddhism and mindfulness meditation for over 17 years including extended time spent in solitary meditation retreats. My therapeutic experience includes working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families both individually, as well as in group settings.
